This was my first painting that I laid down in pastel first and then finished with acrylic. The trick was to stay loose with the pastels and the paint.The larger size was also a challenge for me! The original is framed in a beautiful linen plus brushed silver frame. I can send a photo of the finished piece for approval.

Welcome to my gallery at Fine Art America. I was born and raised in New Orleans, a very creative city. I was influenced by the vibrant culture and art community to become an artist at a young age. I graduated from UNO with a major in painting. Although I became a free-lance commercial artist for a few years, I eventually stopped my art.
